Personal Note from the Chapter President

Dear Customer Care Professionals,

I have never been much of a group joiner. But then I met some folks from SOCAP International, and my eyes opened to the value of spending a little time with people who know and do a lot.

America’s greatest companies are members of SOCAP. Imagine learning from the Customer Relations and Call Center Leadership from Arm & Hammer, Bayer, BMW Financial, Chrysler, Colgate-Palmolive, Con-Agra, Continental, Coty, Dannon, Frito Lay, General Mills, Hamilton Contact Centers, Kraft, Krups, Lego, Levi Strauss, Liberty Mutual, Loreal, Kashi, Lindt, My Brands, Ocean Spray, Orbitz, RC Bigelow, Roche, Schick, Target, Telerx, Tiffany’s, Zotos and many more.

SOCAP members share insights and solutions. There is always someone to call for help or advice. We refer vendors. And in many cases, the vendors are trusted friends and colleagues whose help doesn’t involve buying a thing.

There is wisdom at the SOCAP Spring Symposium and Fall Convention. But we need wisdom and sharing and learning more often than twice a year for 3 days at a whack. We need a chapter of SOCAP in New England. And now we have one.

Our first meeting will be just one sign of the way SOCAP New England will help us all stay ahead of the speeding highway of information and technology and strategies needed to get and keep customers.

Picture your company’s name on this list. Or imagine your thought leadership contributing to our industry through participation in SOCAP events.

Take a few afternoons a year and invest in your own professional growth.  Bring along a couple of colleagues – someone that you look up to and someone who looks up to you.  It’s a great way to bring what you learn back to your company and use it to save money or improve results.

Looking forward to seeing you soon,

Ronna Caras, Chapter President
